IT Security Operations Manager
LOGIS has an exciting opportunity for an IT Security Operations Manager to join our Security & Compliance Team. In this leadership role, you will oversee a team of skilled security professionals responsible for the management and continuous improvement of our internal information security operations, as well as the delivery and enhancement of security services offered to our member organizations.
- Develop, implement, and maintain information security policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Conduct risk assessments and security audits; identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.
- Manage incident response plans and lead coordinated responses to security breaches.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and standards (e.g., CJIS, NIST, PCI-DSS).
- Supervise and lead security personnel including analysts, specialists, and third-party vendors.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and support to ensure high performance and employee development.
- Manage operations of security tools and technologies (e.g., SIEM, DNS-layer security, cybersecurity risk management platforms).
- Lead and oversee security-related service offerings.
- Organize and facilitate member engagement activities.
- Lead security awareness and training efforts to ensure staff understand policies, risks, and best practices.
- Participate in security governance activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of eight years of professional experience in a large-scale, multi-site enterprise environment, with a strong technical foundation across cloud computing, network architecture, applications, systems and security frameworks.
- Minimum of three years in a supervisory or management role.
- Professional security certifications such as:
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)
- Experience conducting risk assessments, security audits, and incident response.
- Hands-on experience managing and operating security tools and platforms (e.g. SIEM, vulnerability scanners, endpoint protection, DNS-layer security, firewalls).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
- Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Professional security certifications such as:
- Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
- Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC)
- Experience with public sector, law enforcement, or regulated environments, particularly with CJIS or similar requirements.

In addition, we offer a flexible hybrid work schedule. Hiring range is $124k-$151k annually, with a maximum salary of $174k for this position and potential advancement opportunities.
